Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LGSConverter ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

LGSConverter converts IFC, FC XML, and FCP files to machine-ready CSV for light gauge steel frame fabrication. It is provided on a pay-as-you-go basis, charged per Linear Metre (LM) exported.

3. No Vendor Affiliation

This Service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of any LGS machine manufacturer, roll-former supplier, or detailer software vendor.

4. Intellectual Property

This Service does not claim ownership of any machine format specification. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Upload files containing malicious code or content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
  • Use the Service to process files you do not have the right to convert
  • Attempt to circumvent billing or access controls
  • Use automated tools to abuse or overload the Service

6. Pricing

All prices are in USD. The current pay-as-you-go rate is $0.03 USD / LM. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

7. Billing and Payment

Payments are processed via PayPal or Stripe. Top-up balances are added to your account and consumed when you export. Unused LM balances do not expire.

8. Refund Policy

Payments for unconsumed LM top-ups may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase. Contact hello@lgsconverter.com with your transaction details.

9. Data Handling

Files you upload are processed in memory and not permanently stored. You retain ownership of all uploaded files and conversion outputs. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Manufacturing Output Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". Conversion output is intended as a starting point for review by a qualified LGS engineer. We do not guarantee error-free conversions. Verify all output before production use.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LGSConverter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland.
