LGSConverter ("we", "our", "us") operates the LGSConverter web application at lgsconverter.com, which converts IFC, FC XML, and FCP files to machine-ready CSV for the light gauge steel fabrication industry. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.

Uploaded files: Files you upload (IFC, XML, FCP) are processed in memory on our servers and are not stored after processing is complete.

Usage data: We record conversion history including filename, file type, linear metres exported, and export date for billing purposes.

Payment information: Payments are processed via PayPal or Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the LGSConverter service
  • To authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • To process your file uploads and return conversion results
  • To calculate and process payments for exports
  • To send account-related notifications
  • To respond to support requests

4. File Retention

Uploaded files are processed in memory and are not permanently stored on our servers after conversion is complete.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Firebase (Google LLC) — user authentication and account data storage.
  • PayPal Holdings, Inc. — payment processing.
  • Stripe, Inc. — card payment processing.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — aggregate usage analysis. No PII sent.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the service.

7. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to account data is restricted to authenticated users only.

8. Your Rights

You may have rights under the GDPR and Polish Personal Data Protection Act, including access, correction, deletion, and restriction. Contact hello@lgsconverter.com to exercise your rights.

9. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your cookie consent preference. Google Analytics uses cookies for aggregate usage data.

10. Jurisdiction

LGSConverter operates under Polish law and complies with the GDPR.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
